The last year, particularly during ‘Lockdown’ has allowed a moment for us all to pause and reflect. Many homeowners have adjusted to a change in lifestyle, whether it be working from home, starting up a small business, home schooling or taking on new hobbies. The requirements of a ‘home’ is changing for many and the demand for more space is increasing.
This has prompted a question for home owners – does their current home accommodate their changing lifestyle?
Wyatt Homes recognises this and understands the importance of community, wellbeing for our residents, accessible green spaces to enjoy the outdoors, as well as beautiful interiors combined with functional space. Which is why each and every one of our developments and homes are crafted with you in mind, with something to suit everyone’s lifestyle and taste.
A Wyatt Home includes high specification fitted kitchens and bathrooms, offering a luxury finish, modern layout and boasts a satisfying sense of space, giving you home satisfaction for many years ahead. The exteriors and gardens of our homes are finished to the highest standards, with a laid to lawn garden and patio, allowing you to enjoy your home from day one and be as delighted with the exterior of your new home as you are with the interior.
During the closure of shops and restaurants, people have spent their evenings and weekends taking long walks, exploring their local area, gardening, running, cycling and simply appreciating nature outside their windows. With increasing appreciation for the outdoors, the ‘wish list’ for many seeking their next home includes gardens, along with access to nearby parks and country walks. Green spaces are an integral part of our developments and where we can, we incorporate natural timber play structures for our resident’s children and pedestrianised routes to join together family houses, to create a sense of community.
With many businesses seeing the ‘home office’ as the new way to operate, it has allowed people to have more flexibility in where they may seek to live. Without the busy work commute, there is more time to enjoy leisure activities and the great outdoors, this has resulted in a demand for semi-rural locations.
We have certainly found this to be true for many of the aspiring homeowners that have contacted us, seeking their dream home at our developments launching this year. These developments will offer something for everyone, from Phase 2 of the idyllic Rivers Edge; its name painting the scene of its picturesque location by the River Stour, within in the market town of Wimborne Dorset.
Or Phase 5 of our popular Brimsmore development in the town of Yeovil, which offers an array of facilities to suit many lifestyles, from local amenities, streets that encourage walking and cycling, an area of new woodland planting which will provide habitats for wildlife and an attractive recreation area and large pond for Brimsmore residents to relax by.
There is also our slightly more rural ‘home in the countryside’ development Wingfield Place, with priceless views across the countryside, which is situated just outside of the traditional village Thornford, Dorset.
We look forward to welcoming you at our new developments, contact us to register your interest.
