What is Part Exchange?

If you’re looking for a quick move into a new Wyatt home, our Part Exchange scheme could be ideal for you! With Part Exchange we could buy your home, minimising any stress and making your move as quick and easy as possible. No fuss, no Estate Agent fees, no chain – just a straightforward move for you and your family.

1/6 Get in Touch

Book an appointment with one of our Sales Advisors at your selected development using the contact details below. Please note that Part Exchange is only available at certain developments.

2/6 Find your dream Wyatt home

Once you’ve found your new Wyatt home, our Sales Advisors will check if you’re eligible for our Part Exchange scheme. If you are, we’ll arrange a minimum of 2 independent valuations using local Estate Agents.

3/6 We’ll make you an offer

We’ll come to you with a fair and reasonable price for your existing home.

4/6 We’ll buy your home

If you accept our offer, we’ll buy your existing property in exchange for a new Wyatt home*. You’ll need to instruct a solicitor; however, our expert Sales Advisors will be there to support you every step of the way.
*Subject to Wyatt Homes' Part Exchange T&Cs (available at the bottom of this page).

5/6 Relax in your existing home

With Part Exchange you can stay in your existing property until your new property is ready.

6/6 Move into your dream Wyatt home

When your new Wyatt Home is ready, simply hand over your keys and we’ll do the rest.

Here’s how it works…
  1. Get in touch – Book an appointment with one of our Sales Advisors at your selected development using the contact details below. Please note that Part Exchange is only available at certain developments.
  2. Find your dream Wyatt home – Once you’ve found your new Wyatt home, our Sales Advisors will check if you’re eligible for our Part Exchange scheme. If you are, we’ll arrange 2 independent valuations using local Estate Agents.
  3. We’ll make you an offer – We’ll come to you with a fair and reasonable price for your existing home.
  4. We’ll buy your home – If you accept our offer and subject to a home buyer’s survey, we’ll buy your existing property in exchange for a new Wyatt home. You’ll need to instruct a solicitor, but our expert Sales Advisors will be there to support you every step of the way.
  5. Relax in your existing home – With Part Exchange you can stay in your existing home until your new property is ready.
  6. Move into your dream Wyatt home

Terms and Conditions

By signing this agreement the purchaser(s) understand that Wyatt Homes will use the information provided to instruct valuations on their property as listed. The Estate Agents will be asked to respond directly to Wyatt Homes with their findings.

Wyatt Homes reserve the right not to make an offer on the property offered for Part Exchange.

Any offer made is subject to the Part Exchange terms and conditions as detailed below. By signing this agreement the purchaser(s) confirm that they have read the full terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are also available on our website.

Wyatt Homes anticipate to make an offer, where applicable, within 3 working days of receiving written valuations.

Once the offer is made it is only valid for a period of 5 working days and Wyatt Homes will not hold the property off the market until a full reservation has been made and the relevant deposit paid. Both the part exchange and new properties must be registered in the same names.

Wyatt Homes require purchasers to allow for the marketing of their part exchange property immediately, with a sign-board erected and listings on digital media.

It will be the purchaser’s responsibility to agree the particulars of the sale of their current property.

If the current property is reserved while the purchaser is in occupation and goes on to exchange and legal completion, Wyatt Homes will pay a £500 incentive payment.

Prior to legal completion, the purchaser(s) will be asked to pay a £500 deposit against the condition of the property, this is to ensure that the part exchange property is left clean and tidy with all contents and rubbish removed.

After reservation a Home Buyers report will be commissioned at Wyatt Homes’ expense. Any unforeseen issues will be discussed with the purchaser as necessary.

The purchaser(s) can remain in the part exchange property until the new Wyatt home is fully completed, ensuring a smooth and hassle free move.

Wyatt Homes will pay the Estate Agent fees in connection with the sale of the part exchange property. The purchaser(s) is liable for any fees incurred prior to reservation. All other fees and costs on the new property, including Stamp Duty, are the responsibility of the purchaser(s).
