Wyatt Homes announces landmark new development in the New Forest

We are delighted to announce the purchase of our first development in the New Forest, which will deliver 100 thoughtfully designed homes to the charming village of Bransgore.
Set against the backdrop of the renowned National Landscape, homes at Wilberforce Green will capture the beauty of the area, complementing and enhancing the unique character of their surroundings, with homes set to be available next year.
The development, off Derritt Lane, has been carefully designed in collaboration with New Forest District Council to preserve Bransgore’s natural identity.
A popular walking route that runs through the development will be retained to maintain strong links with the wider village, and a new children’s play area will also be installed.
Wilberforce Green has been named in honour of Reverend Henry Wilberforce, former curate of Bransgore and founder of the village school in 1840. Henry was the son of prominent anti-slavery campaigner William Wilberforce.

We are working with a number of locally appointed contractors to deliver these luxury homes, ensuring that investment in this project also benefits the wider New Forest community.
Tim Hoskinson, Director of Land and Planning at Wyatt Homes, said: “Wilberforce Green is a landmark development for us, being our first venture into the New Forest.
“The development is set in a special, sought-after location, and our team has worked tirelessly with New Forest District Council to ensure the homes will be sensitive to the area’s characteristics and exemplify quality and comfort.
“We are proud to be working on a scheme that not only provides much-needed homes, but also enhances the existing village and wider landscape.”
