Wyatt Homes Supports Children with Additional Needs

Circus Starr
We’re proud to announce that for the second year in a row we have recently supported children with additional needs with a £500 sponsorship to visit a circus in Bournemouth.
The event was organised by Circus Starr, a community interest company dedicated to making a difference to the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children through the art of circus.
The donation went towards invitations for 25 children who are disabled, vulnerable, disadvantaged, or have additional learning needs, so that these children in the local community were able to enjoy the experience of the circus in an environment that allows them and their families let go of their worries during their time there.

We’re immensely proud to have been able to contribute and support them, ensuring that the children of Bournemouth were able to have this experience.
“The shared desire towards making a tangible difference to people’s lives is testament to the community spirit here at Wyatt Homes, and we look forward to continuing to support local businesses and charities across Dorset.”
Circus Starr is a company that has dedicated itself to bringing the joy of attending the circus to families and children that may have found attending events like these difficult in the past. Staging 148 shows across the country every year, the company works tirelessly to bring people closer, encourage creativity, and allow people to be themselves in a joyful environment.

Sarah Tolley-Hall, Communications & Engagement Manager at Circus Starr said, “We’re very grateful for this generous sponsorship from Wyatt Homes. Our event in Bournemouth was a great success, due in part to their wonderful support.
“Here at Circus Starr, we’re passionate about supporting families with disabled children who say that the stigma and discrimination they face makes them feel isolated, and ensuring that we create an inclusive, non-judgemental, and magical space for them to have fun together.
“To receive this support from Wyatt means a great deal to us and has helped us to follow that passion and support those that need it.”
