Simon Ible joins Wyatt Homes as Planning Manager ahead of exciting phase of growth

We are delighted to have welcomed Simon Ible to the Wyatt Homes team as our new Planning Manager, supporting our ambitious growth plans for Dorset and beyond.
Simon, 33, brings a breadth of expertise to the business, with over a decade of experience in the planning sector and a proven track record that will support our delivery of premium developments designed to enhance the unique character of our region’s towns and villages.
Beginning his career with North Dorset District Council while studying for his degree, Simon joined renowned consultancy firm tor&co, where he gained valuable experience in delivering a range of successful projects as he progressed from Planning Assistant to Associate Director.
Originally from Blandford Forum, Simon also worked for a local developer as Head of Planning before stepping into his new role with us earlier this year.
Since joining us, Simon has overseen a portfolio of new developments at various stages of the planning process, working closely with our wider teams to ensure our developments progress smoothly and meet our exemplary standards.

Speaking on his appointment, Simon said: “I’ve always been fascinated by development – even as a child I’d cycle around half-built sites, wondering what they would become.
“To join Wyatt at a time of growth and be part of its ambitions is incredibly exciting.
Simon has already made a strong impact in his short time with us, advancing key developments and guiding them through the complex planning process to ensure they align with the community’s needs.
Outside of work, Simon enjoys spending time in his garden at home in Poole, with his partner and their cat. He also has hands-on experience in housebuilding, having built a home with his brother Shaun, who now lives there.
