The Role
As a Site Labourer, you will play a key role in supporting the Site Management team and trades on site, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the development.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised construction site.
- Ensuring welfare facilities, including the site office, canteen, toilets and drying room, are kept clean and presentable.
- Maintaining clear walkways and ensuring personnel can move safely around site and away from plant and machinery.
- Receiving deliveries and ensuring materials are stored safely and securely.
- Assisting with the movement and organisation of materials around site.
- Keeping plots tidy and prepared for each stage of construction.
- Sealing properties prior to air testing.
- Supporting site trades and helping to ensure materials and equipment are readily available.
- Monitoring site cleanliness standards and reporting any issues to the Site Management team.
- Promoting safe working practices and ensuring appropriate PPE is worn at all times.
- Reporting any safety concerns, defects, shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
- Assisting with securing and opening the site when required.

- Proactive, practical and willing to support the wider team.
- Committed to maintaining high health and safety standards.
- Organised and capable of managing a variety of tasks throughout the day.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, subcontractors and site management.
- Experienced in a construction environment (preferred but not essential).
