Work Starts At Phase Two Of Frenches Green, Upton

Ready to deliver 70 stunning new homes to Dorset
We have started work on the second phase of Frenches Green in Upton, Poole.
The 8.79 acre parcel of land neighbours our existing and very popular Frenches Green development where we’ve already delivered 70 new homes.
Located off Watery Lane, the new phase of Frenches Green will provide a further 92 high quality, beautifully designed properties, reflecting the distinctive character of the area while meeting the needs of modern homebuyers.
It will also offer an economic boost for the area through community investment and job creation.
Tim Hoskinson, planning director at Wyatt Homes said: “Digging the foundations for the first homes in the latest phase of Frenches Green is the latest milestone for this popular development people are proud to call home. On average we’ll have more than 60 people working on site to build the new homes, which will feature the signature Wyatt Homes craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail and premium finish.

Coming in February 2026
“We worked closely with Dorset Council when planning the development to ensure the homes are in keeping with the character of the wider neighbourhood. The housing mix was planned to help address local housing needs with a range of two-bedroom apartments, plus two, three, and four-bedroom homes being built. We also recognise the importance of investing in community facilities and have agreed a package of support of circa £725,000 with funding allocated for NHS GP surgeries, schools and SEN provision, plus improvements to public walking routes.”
The first homes are expected to be released for sale in early 2026 and we’re hoping to welcome the first homeowners next summer.
The new homes are ideally placed in the catchment area of Lytchett Minster School.
Residents will benefit from close proximity to coastal nature reserves like Frenches Farm Natural Greenspace, Lytchett Bay and walking paths through Upton Country Park, offering the perfect balance of countryside living and proximity to the centres of Bournemouth and Poole.
