Wyatt Homes’ Leads the Way in Solent SME 100 Growth Index

Dorset based Wyatt Homes, well-known for building superior quality, luxury homes for over 25 years, came top in the Solent SME 100 Growth Index* which features SMEs experiencing the highest levels of turnover growth in the region.  With a growth of 156% in the year 2015/2016, Wyatt Homes beat many other reputable companies to pole position including other housebuilders, contractors and developers.  The well-known company is responsible for creating prestigious, distinctive luxury homes in a wide range of styles and designs across Dorset, Somerset and Hampshire.

Over the years, its close attention to detail has not only enabled Wyatt Homes to deliver beautiful properties but also receive industry recognition.  2016 was no exception with the company picking up the Award for ‘Best Small House Builder’ at the coveted WhatHouse? Awards 2016 in addition to ‘Best Residential Development’ in the UK Property Telegraph Awards for its distinctive ‘village’ community scheme, Brimsmore in Somerset.  Brimsmore was also recently awarded ‘Best High Volume New Development’ at the LABC Regional Building Excellence Awards 2017.

With its ever-growing portfolio and an appetite for delivering perfection and superior customer service, Wyatt Homes has recently promoted a few valued employees and appointed several new members to strengthen its team across the board, including its own sales advisors for each new development to guide potential purchasers through the buying process.

The privately-owned company is experiencing considerable success at its new developments which are largely selling off-plan and existing developments continue to be highly popular.  Phase I of the distinctive Brimsmore development on Yeovil’s northern edge is now 90% sold and new releases on Phase II are now available to buy off plan.  The Frenches Green development, comprising of 70 high quality properties in Upton, Dorset is proving a huge draw in an area where there is a shortage of housing and has already sold 95% of its homes off plan prior to their Show Home opening with only two available properties remaining.  Work has also commenced on the new Oakborne development in Winterborne Kingston and Charminster Farm development, near Dorchester and due to launch this summer for off plan sales.

David Wyatt, Managing Director of Wyatt Homes, comments; “Wyatt Homes has achieved significant growth over recent years and we are pleased to have obtained top position in the Solent SME 100 Growth Index, as well as our craftsmanship skills being recognised with prestigious awards.  We are equally delighted to welcome all the new staff and remain committed to developing sites that are of exceptional quality and sympathetic in design to the surrounding area.  Our strong and sustained desire for looking after our customers has led us to receive very positive feedback from those that are already living in our developments.  We hope our customers will continue to find their ideal home at a Wyatt Home development.”
